Social

Yesterday night we had social dance. Unfortunately I had to come half an hour late because I had a Girls Collage basketball game. But the dances that I got to do were the snow ball walze, the walze, the bunny hop and the cha-cha slide. The one I enjoyed the most was the cha-cha slide.

Wedding

Before the wedding all the flower girls the bride and the brides mades. I was a flower girl at the wedding so I had to wear a dress that was bright white. It was frizzy and light. It had a patten at the top, it looked like flax but it wasn't. I had a flower head band on my head it was white just like my dress. My hair was straight but had a french plait near my forehead so I didn't have any hair in my face.

Argument Dialogue.

4 Year old and a parent. 
"Benji come here at once," yelled his mother while she was cleaning up dinner.
"Did you forget to eat something when we were eating dinner?"
"Um, Maybe why?" Benji said in a quite voice.
"There are green things in my washing water and they are floating around. Now because right now your the only child in this house I would think they are yours."
"I... I... I..."
"I what. I am going to cook you some more and you need to eat them then you can go to bed," she said with a grumpy but giggly voice.

2 insects.
"HEY HEY Damian lets go and sting this human being." Yelled to Nathan when they were flying around the house.
"Yeah I'll go in first."

SPCA

"AWSOME!" yelled Norm Hewit. Today some of your school hung out with an ex all black and the 2005 winner of dancing with the stars. He had a photo of his family that included adog named Rusty Bean. Plus there was a lady cooled Shelly and she had about 3 dogs and 1 cat. It was a really fun hour and a half with him and his helpers. He was very amusing and gave us lots of treats like beanies, (that I really wanted) caps, t-shirts, thingies e.g.

This is a 1km walk:

We went from my house that is on 16th avenue up to Devonport road. Took a right walking all the way to boys collage fields. Went right up to the cameron road lights then took a left at the lights. Walked to 16th avenue, turned left and went down to Devonport road again. The took us 11.24.27 seconds.

Today I measured a tree that is out side my grandparents house.
This is it:

The mesurment for this tree was 440. this is how I worked it out.
-Step one: Stand far away from the tree so you can see the tree from top to bottom.
-Step two: Hold out a pencil in one hand and stretch your arm out so that the pencil is at arm’s length in front of you (between you and the tree).

-Step three: Close one eye and adjust the pencil up or down so that you can sight the very top of the tree at the top of the pencil. As shown:  (sorry for the bad drawing)

-Step four: Rotate your arm so that the pencil is horizontal.
-Step five: Have your friend move so that you can sight his or her feet “through” the point of your pencil.
-Step six: Measure the distance between your friend and the tree.
