The look on Mr Scholes's face spelled T for trouble. He was looking out onto 18th ave. I look straight away with my hair flinging in my eyes. A group of men were standing there in black clothes staring at us. A white van comes down super fast and comes to a fast stop. The men walk to the car slowly. Reaching into the van I couldn't see them anymore and I thought RUN! One black hooded man came out of the back of the van with a lager black thing under his arm. Mr Scholes runs to the school office. "LOCK DOWN MODE LOCK DOWN MODE!!" he yelled. All the black hooded men have lined up and aimed for there targets.
"BANG," We head to Matai like a stampede. While I run I see people dropping down and wounded. I see my best friend she's down, I couldn't let her lie there and get more bullets in her body. I grab her and start running. I get inside with lots and lots of other people. I go into the toilets and grab a person to help me. They run to get a first aid kit. I hold onto my best friends hoping she will stay with me.
She is still with us she is just lying therewith blood surrounding her but I realize I have a bullet wound in my arm and I faint. I only wake up and I'm in a white room. Don't worry I was not in heaven, I was in the hospital lying on the most compatible bed I look to my right and see my parents sitting there. Now I know I'm okay and safe.
I am a cool as year 8 at Tauranga Intermediate, I love sports !!!! I have lots of friends and I am AWESOME !!! :)

I found out my two friends smoke. I'm 13. I don't know what to do. I am really confused. Please help.
Dear ...
Tell someone that is close to you and can tell anything to but it must be a adult. The one thing is not to tell your friends as you know they can spread it around the whole school. If I was you I would tell a teacher or mum and dad.
Teachers will know what to do because they might of had a student just like your friends before you went to school. Plus the teachers can go to the principle and ask if you could have a counselor from this school.
I would recommend tell your Mum and Dad. Your Mum might be very close to your friends Mum and Dad, they can have a chat over the phone so your friends won't have to here.
If it is really serious, like they can't stop you should just tell them to go to a website like Teen Line (http://teenlineonline.org/) or call up Quit Line (http://www.quit.org.nz/)
