Homework Post 3

Design your own challenge: Improve fitness over 12 weeks. I am going to recored all my fitness over the 12 weeks.

Week 1                      Monday 1st April 2013
Day 1: Reps Basketball Easter Tournament: For Tauranga City Basketball under 15 girls there is a
competition in Auckland called the Easter Tournament. That is when the Wiakato region and
Auckland region come together for some games of basketball. It goes from Friday till Monday. I
played 7 games over the 4 days and won 4 out of 7, to our team that is quite good.
Day 2: Went out for a run with my mum with grandmas dog.
Day 3: Went out for a walk with dog.
Day 4: Reps Basketball training. Did lots of running up and down the court, and did lots of shooting.
Day 5: Future Champions: When it was school time some people from school went to Future                                    
Champions. Future Champions is when some coaches from around B.O.P come and teach kids  
some skill for the future, plus they had a chat about wat foods we should eat and what we shouldn't.
Volleyball Friday nights 40 mins.
Day 6: Nothing.
Day 7: Reps Basketball training. Again lots and lots of running up and down   the court plus focusing on offense sets.

Week 2                      Monday 8 April 2013
Day 8: Nothing.
Day 9: Tauranga Intermediate basketball trials for school team: Did warm up and went straight into games.
Day 10: Nothing.
Day 11: Reps Basketball training. Working on offense and defense but also doing lots of little games. (2 on 2, 3 on 3, 2 on 3 and 5 on 5)
Netball training at school all through lunch.
Day 12: Fitness with Rimu house doing running etc...
Volleyball Friday nights 40 mins
Day 13: Nothing.
Day 14: Reps Basketball Training: training went for hour and a-half. Mainly working on offense and     shooting plus did lots of running up and down the court.

Week 3                      Monday 15 April 2013
Day 15: Nothing.
Day 16: Went to mount hot pool with sports academy and did some swimming plus on the way back we ran to the water hole and back.
Day 17: Nothing.
Day 18: Reps Basketball Training. Focusing on getting stronger plus the under 17's helped us to do that. Also did lots of running up and down the court.
Day 19: Went out for a run.
Day 20: Nothing. (because it was raining all day)
Day 21: Reps Basketball Training. Mainly focused on shooting and sets, also contacting other players to try and get the ball.

Week 4                      Monday 22 April 2013
Day 22: Nothing.
Day 23: Went to the pools and did some laps but not much.
Day 24: Nothing.
Day 25: Reps Basketball training: Practicing shooting.
Day 26: Nothing.
Day 27: I walk around the Daisy Hardwick with my family and took about 2 hours because had the pull the family along.
Day 28: Reps Basketball Training: focusing on shooting and did 2 on 2.

Week 5                      Monday 29 April 2013
Day 29: Help coach a holiday camp for basketball. 6 hours of running shooting and passing ect.
Day 30: Help coach a holiday camp for basketball. 6 hours of running shooting and passing ect.
Day 1 (May): Help coach a holiday camp for basketball. 6 hours of running shooting and passing ect.
Day 2: Reps Basketball Training: shooting and 1on1.
Day 3: Help coach a holiday camp for basketball. 6 hours of running shooting and passing ect.
Day 4: Nothing.
Day 5: Reps Basketball practice: 3 on 3 working on intersepting. Also getting in there faces and distracting them.

Week 6                        Monday 6 May 2013
Day 6:  CAMP
Netball Training in the morning working on boxing and getting rebounds.
4 hour tramp.
Day 7: CAMP
Day 8: Nothing because went to hospital. I hurt my back and neck while doing a backward flip.
Day 9: CAMP
Day 10: CAMP
Day 11: Netball game in the morning (hour)
Reps Basketball Inter zones. One game about hour. Tauranga vs Waikato A & Tauranga vs Waikato B.
Day 12: Reps Basketball Training: Did lots and lots of running up and down the court and did 5 on 5.

Week 7                        Monday 13 May 2013
Day 13: Netball training in the morning for hour and a half. Working on the second phrase.
Tauranga Girls Collage basketball training hour and a half. Did lots of running up and down, plus did some ball handling skills.
Tauranga Intermediate basketball game. TIS vs TKKM.
Day 14: Yoyo test with sports academy. It is like a beep test but you get 10 second walk after 2 runs.
Day 15: Tauranga Girls Collage basketball game.
Day 16: Reps Basketball practice: shooting and running.
Day 17: Nothing
Day 18: Nothing (no netball because raining)
Day 19: Reps Basketball training: Running and little games.
Days that I have done fitness: 5/7

Week 8                        Monday 20 May
Day 20: Netball practice morning.
Day 21: Nothing.
Day 22: Tauranga Girls Collage basketball game. AQU vs TGC
Tauranga Intermediate basketball training.
Day 23:  Reps Basketball training: Running and shooting.
Day 24: Tauranga Intermediate basketball training in the morning.
Day 25: Netball game in the morning (hour)
Reps Basketball tournament with reps. One game about hour. (inter zones) Tauranga vs Thames.
Day 26: Netball tournament: 5 games and 9am - 2pm.
Reps Basketball training: hard out work out, practicing new things plus LOTS and LOTS of running.
Days that I have done fitness: 6/7

Week 9                        Monday 27 May
Day 27: Netball practice in the morning.
Basketball Girls Collage practice.
Tauranga Intermediate basketball game. T.I.S vs Mnt.
Day 28: Nothing.
Day 29: Tauranga Intermediate basketball practice.
Day 30: Reps basketball practice lots and lots of running and getting yelled at because that was the last practice till Regionals on Saturday and Monday.
Day 31: Nothing.
Day 1 (June): Reps Basketball Regionals: Game 1: Tauranga vs Thames. 61/47 to them unfortunately but we had a great game but I think we were just a bit sleepy because it was early in the morning.
Straight after that I went to netball for the ordinary game of netball. TIS vs Katikati. 22/32, won by ten. I wasn't sleepy then, I was wide awake.
Waited for a while after that for Netball Reps trials. Unfortunately didn't make it in but made it to top 22, couldn't stay for the last trailing bit because had to go right to basketball reps.
Reps Basketball: Game 2: Tauranga vs Rotorua. Didn't win that to because they were way better than us and had way better players, plus organized.
Day 2: Nothing stayed at home recovering.

Day 3: Reps basketball. Game 3: Tauranga vs Waikato A. Oh don't really want to talk about this one but at least we got more than 2 points in this game.
Reps Basketball: Tauranga vs Waikato A. We had a really good game we won and we bet them by 20 points.

Week 10                        Monday 
Week 11                        Monday 24 June (Missing out a couple of weeks.)
Day 24: Netball practice in the morning.
Basketball Girls Collage practice
Day 25: Nothing
Day 26: Tauranga Intermediate basketball practice. 
Girls Collage game AQ vs TGC
Day 27: Reps Basketball Practice.
